Giunge alla sua XIX edizione il FLIPT – Festival Laboratorio Interculturale di Pratiche Teatrali organizzato dal Teatro Potlach di Fara in Sabina, diretto da Pino Di Buduo.
Sedici giorni di laboratori, spettacoli e dialoghi dedicati all’incontro e allo scambio creativo tra diverse culture della performance.
Quest'anno il confronto avverrà tra artisti provenienti da Giappone, India, Danimarca, USA, Brasile, Groenlandia, Cina, Grecia, Olanda, Ungheria e Italia, che porteranno al festival il proprio contributo attraverso la condivisione della propria personale esperienza teatrale.
Dal 14 al 30 giugno a Fara Sabina e nei comuni limitrofi, pedagoghi di livello internazionale si avvicenderanno nella conduzione di workshop dedicati alla regia e agli elementi fondativi della presenza scenica dell'attore nelle culture orientali e occidentali

14 GIUGNO
Costruzione dello spettacolo dei partecipanti “La corda umana” con il Teatro Potlach
Spettacolo con tutti i partecipanti al Festival, che si presentano artisticamente alla città di Fara Sabina e ai suoi abitanti.
15-17 GIUGNO
Laboratorio “Cities of Memory”
Con Kyle Gillette (Texas, USA)
I partecipanti percorrono le strade di Fara in Sabina e iscrivono la città nella memoria del loro corpo. Insieme scrivono testi e creano partiture fisiche che danno vita allo spazio urbano. Attingendo dal libro “Le città invisibili” di Calvino e dai ricordi delle loro città d'origine, i partecipanti ricostruiranno le città ricordate e le città sperate, le città scomparse e le città che non sono mai state, a partire da Fara in Sabina, una città del presente con profonde radici nel passato. Il workshop culmina in spettacoli di site specific per le vie della città.
17-20 GIUGNO
Laboratorio “Il fiore della Commedia”
Con Claudio De Maglio (Italia)
Laboratorio sui personaggi e le maschere della Commedia dell’Arte. Esperimento di lavoro autorale oltre che attorale: verranno costruite una serie di scene che nasceranno dal contributo degli stessi partecipanti, dal loro lavoro attoriale e dalle tecniche che si apprenderanno nel corso del workshop. Alla fine verrà fatta una piccola messa in scena pubblica.
18-23 GIUGNO
Laboratorio di costruzione dello spettacolo “Città Invisibili” con il Teatro Potlach
Progetto artistico interdisciplinare e multimediale basato sul tema della città, ispirato all'omonimo romanzo di Italo Calvino, che dal 1991 ha trasformato oltre 60 città nel mondo in grandi spazi teatrali, con proiezioni, teli, luci, musica, teatro, danza, scultura, pittura. Ogni volta è una messa in scena completamente nuova, poiché si avvale degli artisti e delle associazioni locali (culturali, artistiche, sportive, artigianali, sociali), oltre all’ensemble del Teatro Potlach: attori, ricercatori, architetti, scenografi, archeologi, antropologi; e in questa edizione vi prenderanno parte anche tutti i partecipanti al Festival.
25-27 GIUGNO
Laboratorio “Teatro danza tradizionale giapponese Kamigata-mai”
con Keiin Yoshimura (Giappone)
Il Kamigata-mai si basa sulla più antiche tradizioni del ballare del Noh, del Kyogen, del Kabuki, e si ispira anche alle tecniche dei movimenti dei burattini di Bunraku. La danza viene eseguita in modo sommesso, tranquillo e dignitoso, per dare importanza all’espressione esterna del sentimento più intimo. Si imparerà ad indossare un kimono, ad utilizzare l’Ougi (ventaglio), si farà pratica sui personaggi maschili e femminili e sulle loro camminate. Alla fine verrà fatta una piccola messa in scena pubblica.
25-28 GIUGNO
Laboratorio sulla Danza di Bollywood
Con Chintan Pandya (India)
Regista, attore, ballerino e coreografo, Chintan Pandya insegnerà diverse coreografie di danza Bollywood.
Alla fine verrà fatta una piccola messa in scena pubblica.
28-30 GIUGNO
Master Class teorico-pratica “La struttura espressiva: crescita di un work in progress. Composizione, forme incerte, andare a fondo ovvero modellare dal dentro”
con Eugenio Barba e Julia Varley, Odin Teatret (Danimarca)
Aperto a 16 partecipanti e 40 osservatori
I 16 partecipanti debbono conoscere a memoria una poesia e una canzone. Debbono portare dei vestiti prevalentemente rossi da usare nell'esibizione della scena strutturata. Il lavoro pratico si rifà ai principi dell'antropologia teatrale, della drammaturgia dell'attore e del pensiero creativo nelle discipline artistiche.
L’ultimo giorno della Master Class ci sarà un esibizione finale dal titolo “Le sedie. Omaggio a Ionesco”(work in progress).
|Tutte le mattine Training vocale con Nathalie Mentha (Teatro Potlach)
Ci si concentrerà sullo sviluppo sano della voce attraverso le canzoni. Esplorazione dell'esperienza del coro attraverso il canto insieme in diversi spazi.

FLIPT – Intercultural Festival Laboratory of Theatre Practices, organized by Teatro Potlach in Fara Sabina, directed by Pino Di Buduo, is now in its 19th edition.
Sixteen days of workshops, shows and dialogues about the creative exchange between different cultures of performance.
This year the comparison will take place between artists from India, Japan, Denmark, USA, Brazil, Greenland, China, Hungary, Holland and Italy, which will give the festival their own contribution through the sharing of their personal theatrical experience.
From 14th June to 30th June international pedagogues will conduct workshops on directing and on the core elements of the actor's stage presence in Eastern and Western cultures, in Fara Sabina end neighboring villages.

14th JUNE
Construction of the partecipants’ performance “The Human Rope” with Teatro Potlach
Performance with all the partecipants in the Festival; they’ll present in artistic way to the city of Fara Sabina and to its inhabitants.
From 15th to 17th JUNE
Workshop “Cities of Memory”
with Kyle Gillette (TEXAS)
In this three day workshop, participants travel the streets of Fara in Sabina and inscribe the city into the memory of the body. Together they write texts and create physical scores that bring urban space to life. Drawing from Calvino’s Invisible Cities and memories of their home cities, participants will layer remembered cities and hoped-for cities, cities that have vanished and cities that have never been, into Fara in Sabina, a city of the present with deep roots in the past. The workshop culminates in site-specific performances through the streets of the city.
From 17th to 20th JUNE
Workshop on “The flower of the Commedia”
with Claudio De Maglio (Italy)
Workshop on the characters and masks of the Commedia dell’Arte. Experiment of authorial and acting work: a series of scenes will be built by the contribution of the participants, from their acting work and from the techniques that will be learned during the workshop. At the end they’ll present a work in progress.
From 18th to 22nd JUNE
Construction of the performance “Invisible Cities” with Teatro Potlach
An interdisciplinary and multimedia art project based on the theme of the city, inspired by Italo Calvino's homonymous novel, which since 1991 has transformed over 60 cities all over the world into large theatrical spaces with the use of projections, longs fabrics, lights, music, theater, dance, sculpture, painting. Each time, it is a completely new stage, because are involved local artists and local associations (cultural, artistic, sports, crafts, social), as well as Teatro Potlach ensemble: actors, researchers, architects, scenographers, archaeologists, anthropologists. All the participants of the Festival will be involved.
From 25th to 27th JUNE
Workshop on “Kamigata-mai dance in the Japanese tradition”
with Keiin Yoshimura (Japan)
Kamigata-mai was based on the “dancing” tradition of Noh, Kyogen, Kabuki, and it also drew from the techniques of puppet movements in Bunraku. The dance is performed in a subdued, tranquil and dignified way, because we place major importance to the external expression of one’s innermost sentiment. In the workshop you’ll learn how to put on the Kimono, how to use Ougi (fan), you’ll practice on male and female characters and on their walks. At the end they’ll present a work in progress.

Workshop on Bollywood Dance
With Chintan Pandya (India)
Director, actor, dancer and choreographer, Chintan Pandya will teach various Bollywood dance choreographies.

Theoretical-practical Master Class “The expressive structure: growth of a work in progress. Composition, uncertain shapes, getting to the deep or shaping from the inside”
With Eugenio Barba and Julia Varley, Odin Teatret (Denmark)
For 16 partecipants and 40 observers.
The 16 participants must know a poem and a song. They should wear mostly red clothes to use in the structured scene. The practical work refers to the principles of theatrical anthropology, the dramaturgy of the actor and creative thinking in the artistic disciplines. The Master Class will end with the final exhibition “The chairs. Tribute to Ionesco” (work in progress).
